Andalou Naturals Kombucha Enzyme Exfoliating Peel

P1010033Recently I reviewed Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Peel Sensitve and mentioned Andalou Naturals in that post. This product has similar function as that of Green Apple Peel, except this is an enzyme based product.

Andalou Naturals claims: For Active & Oily Skin (FYI – I’m combination)
Andalou Naturals Fruit Stem Cell Science renews skin at the cellular level, blending nature and knowledge for visible Clarifying results.  Grapefruit Kombucha, pineapple, and papaya enzymes loosen and exfoliate dull, dry surface cells, unclogging pores and stimulating circulation for improved clarity, tone, and texture. Fruit Stem Cell Complex and Vitamin C boost healthy cell renewal for a clear, refreshed complexion.

Kombucha Peel is lot milder, gentler and doesn’t tingle my skin. It does have a pleasant smell but may irritate some with fragrance sensitivity. Since my purchase they have changed their packaging. I have the tube pictured above. I apply this peel generously after cleansing my skin. Let it dry, walk away, get some chores done, and then come back. I take some steam on my face and very gently massage the peel and steam on my face loosening the stubborn dead cells and instigating some circulation. My skin feels a lot smoother, brighter, and clearer. Does it help with any pigmentation and scars….ermmm not really. But its a fabulous exfoliator.

Ingredient wise: Aloe Barbadensis and Citrus Paradisi (Pink Grapefruit) Juices*, Saccharomyces Xylinum (Kombucha) Black Tea Ferment , Pectin, Vegetable Glycerin, Cyamopsis Tetragonolobus (Guar) Gum*, Papain, Bromelain, Hyaluronic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Fruit Stem Cells (Malus Domestsica, Solar Vitis) and BioActive 8 Berry Complex*, Lauric Acid, Salix Alba (Willow Bark) Extract*, Hibiscus Sabdariffa and Aspalathus Linearis (Rooibos) Extracts*†, Arginine, Phenethyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) and Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oils*

Non-GMO verified    *Organic    † Fair Trade

To me, these look great but may irritate some with very sensitive skins. Definitely patch test before using.

There are many enzyme peels in the market and I would like to try something stronger. Have you tried any other peels? Please let me know in comments below.
