Indeed Labs – Hydraluron & Peptabright…Indeed Splendid!

Today I’ll be talking about Indeed Lab’s fab creation called Hydraluron & Peptabright.

Hydraluron

I absolutely love this product and once again thanks to Mrs. Hirons I’ve been through countless tubes of this goodness. It’s a clear gel with no offensive smell or anything offensive about it, whack it on straight after toning in morning followed by moisturizer and sunscreen. It keeps my skin hydrated for most part of day. Hydraluron has opened my eyes to the concept of dehydration suffered by all skin types (dry, oily, normal, combination). Yes I bravely and openly admit my ignorance about dehydration concept until last 4-5 years ago.

Now dear where have you been? Or have I been living under a rock. The latter seems more of a possibility. Anyway, the website claims the product can even skin tone, reduce and lighten hyperpigmentation, prevent, treat and diminish dark spots, restore luminosity and radiance to the skin, prevent the formation of future dark spots and fight against photo-aging, Stimulate cell turnover and Maintain skin’s hydration.

Unfortunately I don’t use this product every night, but whenever I do my skin always looks brighter and radiant next morning. Because I haven’t used it consistently, can’t say for sure if it has helped me with dark spots or pigmentation but certainly boosts radiance to my skin. Defo repurchase!

My Thoughts: Bioderma White Objective Serum

P1000662

Browsing through the aisles of Pharmacia in Madrid, I purchased this serum on a whim. Quickly glanced at the ingredients and thought let’s try it. It sure has some pretty effective ingredients for brightening and exfoliating the skin.

The packaging was interesting, with 30ml bottle accompanied with a vial of Vitamin C powder. You need to empty the powder in 30ml bottle (travel friendly) and give it a good shake ensuring all ingredients have nicely incorporated.

I used this every night after toning and experienced slight tingling sensation (sensitive skins might not enjoy it) that dint last long. I noticed that the glycolic acid helped my skin when I was experiencing breakout. Next morning my skin felt brighter and spots shrinking . It certainly did wonders to my older acne scars, some pigmentation and dull areas. This serum doesn’t have any smell to it but over a period of time I noticed the color of serum changed not impacting its efficacy. I’m assuming it’s due to vitamin c which is not the most stable ingredients.

As with any glycolic acid and vitamin c product, I ensured I had adequate sun protection at all times.  My only gripe with this product would be I wish it had slightly lower alcohol content. Whilst I fully understand that alcohol is needed to stabilize glycolic acid, it’s just tad strong. In saying so, I would definitely buy it again!
