My Thoughts: Priori Barrier Repair Complex

As mentioned in my previous post on Priori cleanser (Click Here), this brand just doesn’t have enough recognition it deserves. Anyway so today I’m going to talk about Barrier Repair Complex. As with the cleanser I’ve used this moisturizer for past 6-7 years and ultimately resort to this, should my skin go through any trauma.

 Priori claims:

  • 2% LCA Complex: 1% L-Lactic Compound + 1% MFAS (Multi-Functional Antioxidant Sequence)
  • Fortifying Epidermal Complex – Ceramide 3, Cholesterol, , Essential Fatty Acids
  • Anti-Irritant Complex – Allantoin, Bisabolol, Sucrose Cocoate
  • Soothing & Calming Properties – Green Tea, Licorice Extract
  • pH 3.8, Non-Comedogenic, Oil Free, Fragrance Free, Colorant Free, Dermatologist Tested, Allergy Tested, Paraben Free

May be it sunburn, post IPL laser, post microdermabrasion, post acid peel or post any disastrous event, slapping this moisturizer completely renews my skin like nothing ever happened. It instantly soothes, hydrates and calms my skin down. It is fairly rich but light in texture and lasts a while. All my skin needs is one pump all over my face. Sometimes I use it on my hands, elbows & knees who scream for attention. I think it would be suitable for all skin types.

The bottle lasts me for a while since I don’t use it every night. This is one for emergencies and occasional pampering. It could be argued that it’s at hefty price point but for what it does, it’s worth it for me.

My Thoughts: Priori Advanced AHA Gentle Facial Cleanser

Apologies for disgusting cap… On bright side you know I use it like crazy woman!

Priori is such an under-rated brand. It has some amazing products in their line however I’ve rarely ever heard anyone rave about it or give it the recognition and credit it deserves. Today I want to give this cleanser its much deserved claim to fame!

I’ve used this cleanser for past 7-8 years on and off (trying other things) however time and again I’ve returned to this cleanser. It has a light milky cleanser consistency without any offensive scent. Lightly massage this into my skin and it leaves my skin lightly exfoliated (due to its lactic acid content), soft, hydrated, smooth. I noticed an overall radiance and brightness in my skin over a period of time. Did it prevent breakouts? In my opinion and experience, it’s difficult to resolve this issue with just a cleanser. Personally I rely on serums, spot treatments etc to resolve that matter.

A perfect addition to line up of cleansers as it does a wonderful job at a light cleanse in morning or as a second cleanse after my makeup removal ritual (with oil or balm).

The bottle lasts me decent 4-5 months using one pump each time, twice a day (180ml). Fortunately, the price tag is not as steep as many cleansers ($38 –, so I can easily justify shelling out such moolah for a good cleanser.

Additional Information:
